Clarification of membership requirement in reference to Guides

If you are a full time guide, or professional angler, you are not allowed to compete in the Courtesy Bass Fishing League. Anyone who knowingly competes in our tournaments with intent to disguise their profession of full time guide will be banned from the tournament events immediately.  Anyone who guides part time for money will be required to show proof of other full time employment. Documents we will accept for proof of employment are current W2, or current pay stub. Anyone who guides part time and  fails to produce required documents will not be allowed to compete.
In addition, anyone who may be a part time guide will be prohibited from guiding on the next scheduled body of water for 30 days prior to tournament. Anyone in violation will be disqualified and membership voided. Anyone who has any further questions can contact me by e-mail at courtesyanglers@cfl.rr.com  Thanks, Ben

It seems there is some confusion on the correct way to measure the minimum length requirement of a legal bass. The animation at right should help those that are not quite clear on the process. Always keep in mind if it's that close ? Toss it back………...

Bass Madness University presented by Bass Pro Shop's

Carl Becker and Ben Carter, Tournament Directors for the TSA ,were invited along with TSA  Teens, Tori Carter & Josh Cleaton to assist the Bass Pro Staff at the Bass Madness University held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. They assisted in registration and greeting for the event. They were also invited to attend the all day seminar and get first hand information directly from the pro's such as Jason Quinn, Timmy Horton, Woo Daves & Chris Daves, These guys were true gentlemen and were more than happy to hang out and talk with the TSA group between sessions. It was quite an experience...  Thanks to Bass Pro Shop, Management and staff for inviting us to help  with this event. I would also like to personally thank Bass Pro for becoming a supporter of Courtesy Anglers for 2008. Look for the TSA to be in attendance at special events at Bass Pro in 2008…..
